On Sunday, August 2, 2026, the Oktyabrskaya Railway invites everyone to the citywide Railway Workers’ Day celebration in the Russian Railway Museum’s open-air exhibition. Guests can enjoy a large concert program, workshops, games, and sports activities.
The event will begin with the “Achieving the Goal!” charity run. The funds raised will go toward treatment for beneficiaries of the Pochyot Charitable Foundation. Because of the run, access to the open-air exhibition will be unavailable from 10:00 to 11:30.
From 12:00 to 18:00, visitors can enjoy a sports and music celebration for the whole family:
A cover band, a DJ, a drum show, dance performances, and children’s creative groups. Activities for children include workshops, a bubble show, face painting, board and sports games, a trampoline park, gifts, and sweet treats. At the GTO fitness area, participants can test their strength, agility, endurance, and coordination. There will also be quizzes, conversation, good cheer, and the warm emotions of the main railway celebration.
Admission to Railway Workers’ Day is free for everyone. Museum admission is subject to the regular price list. Railway workers, as well as their spouses and children, can visit the museum free of charge on this day.
Additional security measures will be in place during the celebration, so visitors are asked to arrive at the Russian Railway Museum in good time.
