Play at the museum: the “Podstakannik” quest at the Russian Railway Museum
On Friday, November 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Russian Railway Museum will host the “Podstakannik” quest.
On Friday, November 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Russian Railway Museum will host the “Podstakannik” quest.
Guests will have to visit both museum buildings, find all 11 giant glass holders from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, write down the letters displayed on them, and solve a railway-related word. The code word must be given to the administrator at the museum exit—everyone who answers correctly will receive a museum souvenir.
Any museum visitor can take part in the quest. It begins at 11:00 a.m. on November 7, and answers will be collected until 5:00 p.m. that same day.
Starting November 7, the museum will return to its regular schedule: Thursday through Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday is a day off; Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The ticket office closes and visitor admission ends one hour before the museum closes.
