On December 8, 2025, the Russian Railway Museum hosted an educational campaign marking World AIDS Day. Ninety-three people took part in the campaign.

From noon to 6:00 p.m., a mobile unit operated outside the museum, offering free and anonymous rapid HIV testing. Everyone who took the test could visit the museum free of charge that day.

At 3:30 p.m. in the museum’s conference hall, Olga Kutukova, a medical psychologist at the St. Petersburg AIDS Center, spoke about modern methods of HIV detection and prevention, the situation with the virus in the country, and living with the condition. Students of the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University attended the lecture.

The joint campaign with St. Petersburg State Budgetary Healthcare Institution “AIDS and Infectious Diseases Center” and the Diakonia charitable foundation was held at the museum for the fifth time. We are glad to be part of this important social initiative.
