Until midnight, visitors could take part in a family quest game. Workshops ran throughout the night: children and adults could make a foil tea-glass holder or a badge, decorate a train-shaped key ring, or sculpt with modeling clay. The highlight of the program was an artistic video created in real time by street artists and projected onto a steam locomotive on the turntable. Folk music in modern arrangements played throughout the exhibition, and colorful photo zones with a national character were available.

“We received many warm comments from guests that night. The large coloring activity featuring a map of Russia was especially popular, as were the workshops for making a tea-glass holder—a symbol of our country’s railways—and the lyrical video poems by the artists, which evoked travelers’ memories. We were delighted to see everyone and are already thinking about next year’s program,” said Vladimir Odintsov, Director of the Russian Railway Museum.
