On Friday, October 30, 2026, the Russian Railway Museum will celebrate its ninth anniversary. Guests can look forward to children's workshops, a performance, and a festive photo zone.
At 12:00, 14:00, and 16:00, the First Experimental Theater will present a children's performance of "The Flying Ship," based on a Russian folk tale, near a steam locomotive cutaway. We'll discuss what a dream is and the obstacles one must overcome to achieve it. Younger viewers can enjoy magic tricks and puppet theater. The performance is suitable for children over 3 years old and lasts for one hour.
Festive flag-making workshops will also begin at 13:00 and 15:00 near the turntable. Everyone can take a souvenir photo near the themed photo zone.
"Our museum is turning nine years old." A generation has grown up who remember our museum from childhood and consider it a favorite. For this holiday, we've prepared a performance about dreams, master classes, and a photo zone. Come with your whole family, let's celebrate together," said Dmitry Golovkin, Director of the Russian Railway Museum.
On October 30, the Russian Railway Museum is open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; the ticket office closes one hour before closing.
