Steam train ride at the Russian Railway Museum
A ride around the open-air exhibition on the little steam train named Efimka: 24 seats, 15 minutes and the largest exhibits of the museum.
We invite you to explore the open-air exhibition of the Russian Railway Museum on a sightseeing steam train. The ride is available for children from 3 years old; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The road train consists of a little steam engine named Efimka and two open carriages, 24 seats in total. The ride lasts 15 minutes.
Passengers will see the largest exhibits: the Molodets combat railway missile system, armoured platforms, the Sokol and ER200 high-speed trains. The audio guide will also tell about the newcomers: the BP-43 armoured train replica and the carriage for international passenger service.

The ticket can be bought in addition to the museum entrance ticket at the box office. Ticket sales close 5 minutes before the ride starts.

The train departs from the platform once an hour between 11:00 and 16:00. There are no rides on Tuesday, Wednesday and in the rain. The stop is located at the exit of the glazed passage between the buildings.
