Free admission to the museum is available to:

• Holders of the titles "Honorary Railway Worker" and "Honorary Worker of the October Railway".
• Children under 7 years old, large families (3 or more children), pupils of orphanages and boarding schools, students of the Small October Railway.
• Persons with disabilities of groups I and II, wheelchair users and children with disabilities.
• A person accompanying a group I disabled visitor.
• A person accompanying visitors with disabilities (one free ticket is provided to the accompanying person when a disabled visitor needs outside assistance to enter the museum grounds or to move around).
• Conscript soldiers, combat veterans.
• Participants of the special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, DPR and LPR, and their family members.
• Holders of the titles "Honorary Donor of Saint Petersburg", "Honorary Donor of Russia", "Honorary Donor of the USSR".
• Chaperones of school excursion groups for children under 18 (school teacher, head of a children's club or studio, parent committee representative). No more than 2 people per group.
• A person accompanying an organized group of foreign tourists, cadets, or students (group leader, guide-interpreter, teacher).
• Persons affected by radiation due to the Chernobyl disaster or nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test site, and persons equated to these categories.
• Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, residents and defenders of besieged Leningrad, former underage prisoners of World War II.
• Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of the Russian Federation.
• Heroes of Socialist Labour and full holders of the Orders of Military and Labour Glory (all 3 degrees) for service to the Motherland.
• Employees of Russian museums, members of ICOM, members of the Union of Museums of Russia.
