Vladimir Odintsov, Director of the Russian Railway Museum, won the “At the Heart of the Event” category of the “Kindest People of St. Petersburg” award in 2025. The awards ceremony took place on September 18, 2025.

Vladimir Alekseyevich is an honored transport worker of Russia, a professor, and a Candidate of Economic Sciences. He has worked on the Oktyabrskaya Railway for more than half a century and has served as Director of the Russian Railway Museum since 2017.

Under his leadership, the museum has been actively developing: exhibitions are organized, collections are expanded, restoration work is carried out, and the collection is being digitized. The museum hosts numerous celebrations and cultural events for guests and residents of the Northern Capital. Socially oriented events deserve special mention: tours and museum-education classes for socially vulnerable groups, as well as annual campaigns supporting blood donation and combating the spread of HIV.

The annual “Top 25. Kindest People of St. Petersburg” award has been held since 2019 on the initiative of the Council for the Development of Volunteering under the Committee for Youth Policy and Interaction with Public Organizations. In 2025, 25 categories were presented. The winners were selected through online voting on the project website.
