Starting September 18, 2025, all exhibitions and temporary displays will once again be open at the museum. To celebrate the reopening, we invite everyone to take part in the exciting new “Podstakannik” quest.
Guests must become real trackers and find 11 giant glass holders from the 2018 FIFA World Cup in the large museum. Letters will be placed on the glass holders, and participants must use them to assemble a word from railway vocabulary. Participants who correctly form the word will receive commemorative souvenirs from the museum.
Everyone can take part with a museum admission ticket. To submit the code word and receive a souvenir, visitors must contact the administrator at the museum exit. The quest begins at 11:00 a.m. on September 18, and answers will be collected until 5:00 p.m. that same day.
“A modern museum is not only about history but also about interactivity. We are constantly looking for new formats to make learning about the past engaging. We have already drawn and taken photographs in the museum; now it is time to play. The ‘Podstakannik’ quest is a wonderful opportunity for family leisure and will allow visitors to look at the exhibition in a new way,” said Vladimir Odintsov, the museum’s Director.
