The Russian Railway Museum participates in the “Railway Dynasty” exhibition at the “Station at the 63rd Verst” Museum

Partnerships

A new exhibition at the “Station at the 63rd Verst” Museum tells the story of generations of people who devoted their lives to the railway.

The “Railway Dynasty” project was conceived as a lively, grassroots open-air exhibition. It features photographs of railway workers from private archives, as well as materials provided by the Russian Railway Museum and the Gatchinskaya Pravda newspaper. The exhibition brings together 14 railway dynasties in which several generations have preserved their love for and loyalty to the steel main lines.

The Russian Railway Museum provided digital copies of photographs from its collection. All the photographs relate to the Oktyabrskaya Railway. Visitors will see portraits, group photographs, scenes from working life, historical views of stations, depots, and track facilities, as well as everyday scenes from railway life.

“Station at the 63rd Verst” Museum
