Change in the Russian Railway Museum’s opening hours on September 17, 2026

On Thursday, September 17, 2026, Building N of the Russian Railway Museum will be closed. Building R and the open-air exhibition will remain open to visitors. On this day, admission to Halls 5 and 6, with their interactive models, will be available at no additional charge.

Building R, a former steam locomotive depot, contains steam locomotives and carriages from the early 20th century, the large-scale “Arrows of Time” installation, and the “Dining Car” café. The open-air section displays the largest exhibits, including the ER200 and Sokol high-speed trains, the Molodets combat railway missile system, and military equipment.
