The Russian Railway Museum invites visitors to a detective investigation program as part of the “Children’s Days” festival

Announcements

The Russian Railway Museum is taking part in the autumn “Children’s Days” festival with “The Rain Suitcase,” a genuine detective investigation among the exhibits of a large railway museum.

The children will help an absent-minded scientist and save the railway from a climate catastrophe. To do this, they must find a forgotten suitcase containing the secret of changing the weather before it falls into the wrong hands.

Participants will investigate a tangled case and search for clues among locomotives and railcars, “travel” from Sochi to Murmansk—from hot summer to snowy winter—and learn how railway tracks are prepared for different seasons and why schedules change. They will also work as a team and decipher clues to finish in time!

The team of “detectives” will learn why it is possible to experience different seasons in a single journey in our country, how engineers and railway workers cope with all kinds of weather, and why a season depends not only on the calendar but also on mood and dreams!

Parents can join the investigation too—helping, offering hints, and photographing the brightest moments!

The program is intended for children aged 7–9.

Schedule: October 29 at 1:30 and 4:30 p.m.; October 30 and November 8 at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.; November 1, 2, and 9 at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Duration: 90 minutes.

Program tickets: 300 rubles plus admission tickets.
