The Russian Railway Museum opens the season of excursion train rides

Announcements

As of May 1, 2026, visitors can explore the Russian Railway Museum’s open-air exhibition on a ride aboard the excursion train. The ride is available to children aged 3 and over; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

The road train consists of a little steam train named Yefimka and two open carriages, with 24 seats in total. The ride lasts 15 minutes.

Passengers will see the largest exhibits: the Molodets combat railway missile system, armored platforms, and the Sokol and ER200 high-speed trains. An audio guide will also describe the new exhibits: a replica of the BP-43 armored train and a carriage for international passenger services.

The train departs from the platform once an hour from 11:00 to 16:00. Rides do not operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or in rainy weather. The train stop is located at the exit from the glass passage between the buildings.

Ticket price: 200 rubles
