The Russian Railway Museum launches the anniversary season of the “Keepers” student team

Announcements, Partnerships

As of July 1, 2026, the Russian Railway Museum team has been joined by students from the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University. The “Keepers” student team has begun its fifth, anniversary season.

The young people work as administrators responsible for safeguarding the collections. They ensure that visitors follow museum rules, help guests find their way around the exhibitions, and tell them about additional opportunities at the museum.

“Five years of experience have shown that the museum student team is a successful experiment. These young people are a strategic asset for us. In practice, they immerse themselves in the history of the industry, hone their live communication skills, learn to act in uncertain situations, and become a close-knit team. For us, they are a source of fresh and sometimes groundbreaking ideas, as well as reliable support during peak periods. This mutual enrichment makes both the students and our museum stronger,” said Dmitry Golovkin, Director of the Russian Railway Museum.
