<space=1em><b>Great Siberian</b>
<space=1em>The model shows a view of the Vladivostok station of the Ussuri railway.
<space=1em>Here <nobr>May 19</nobr> <nobr>1891</nobr> the Tsarevich and future Emperor of the Russian Empire Nikolai Alexandrovich Romanov personally took the first wheelbarrow of earth to the foundation of the railway embankment. Thus began the construction of the Great Siberian Route, which in <nobr>1903</nobr> connected the Far East with Moscow and St. Petersburg. The road showed its strategic importance a year later, when the Russo-Japanese War began.
<space=1em><b>Model</b>
<space=1em>It is the pre-war era that the model reflects. You can see the first Vladivostok railway station, which existed until the <nobr>1910s</nobr>, the building of the Ussuri Railway Administration and other pre-revolutionary architecture of the city. In total, there are <nobr>964 characters</nobr> on the model. The moving screen in front of the display case tells in detail about each object on the model.
