If you have left something behind, please ask at the information desk in the main lobby or speak to a security officer — all found items are handed over there.

If you have already left the museum, write to info@rzd-museum.ru or call +7 (812) 457-27-04: describe the item and give the date of your visit, and we will check the lost property office.

Found items are kept at the museum for 30 days.

On weekdays an adult ticket costs 500 roubles; for schoolchildren, students and pensioners it is 250 roubles. At weekends the adult ticket costs 600 roubles; for schoolchildren, students and pensioners — 300 roubles.

Large families and children under 7 can visit the museum free of charge. The full list of visitors entitled to free admission is available here.

Amateur photography and video without a tripod or flash is allowed throughout the museum and is not charged for.

Professional and commercial shoots, as well as filming with a tripod or additional lighting, must be arranged in advance — write to info@rzd-museum.ru.

Photography may be restricted at some temporary exhibitions — such rooms are marked with dedicated signs.

Please state your preferred date and time, the number of visitors and their age — we will suggest a suitable programme.

Bookings are accepted no later than three working days before the visit.

Yes. The building has ramps, lifts and accessible toilets, and every exhibition hall can be reached by wheelchair users.

A wheelchair can be borrowed free of charge at the entrance. Their number is limited, so it is best to let us know about your visit in advance.
