Pavel Dunaev’s author tours of the Train No. 1 exhibition project

This is not a general tour of our museum. It is an event for a well-prepared guest ready to discuss the history of the country’s oldest named train — the Red Arrow express.

The tour covers Soviet everyday life of the 1930s, the newly revealed history of the Red Arrow during the Great Patriotic War, the changing meaning of the “sleeping car” in the USSR, and the role of East German carriage building in the life of an ordinary Soviet passenger.

The tour includes free access to halls No. 5 and 6 with interactive models.
